"The band was formed by Alexander Shubin (guitars/vocals) and Rouslan Galiev (guitars). Since the very beginnig we made a decision not to keep ourselves within the bounds of one music style. Other band members - Theodore Chrestin (bass), Antony Shepliagin (drums) and Vladislav NoVo (vocals) did not mind about that and had the same point of view. Music of Desphoriath was developed under influence of Death Metal, Deathcore and absorbed everything most unusual from other musical genres. As a result of this mixing, heavy, sometimes melodious, aggressive music appeared. Lyrics of Desphoriath are saturated with pain and hatred. The first band perfomance was in february 2007. Since then there was a great number of concerts; sharing the stage with monsters of russian metal stage. If you've ever seen this show, you never forget it! After the first demo-record was released, the band decided to change the style and make it much more closer to deathcore. Sound became more solid and agressive. «We find that new material is essentially different from what we've been doing before. It means that it just another new level of our music.» At a present time the band has recorded EP with 6 songs in it. "
